Tambi\u00e9n existen planes para cubrir de vegetaci\u00f3n las viejas azoteas de la cuidad y para el 2025 la meta es convertirse en una cuidad neutral de carbono. <\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><em>Copenhague es la segunda ciudad en el mundo con una legislaci\u00f3n sobre las azoteas verdes, anteriormente la cuidad de Toronto en Canad\u00e1 implemento una ley similar.<\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><em>La utilizaci\u00f3n de techos verdes genera muchos beneficios tanto econ\u00f3micos como ecol\u00f3gicos. Adem\u00e1s de mejorar la climatizaci\u00f3n del edificio, se pueden utilizar las azoteas verdes para cultivar frutas, verduras y flores. Este tipo de azoteas filtra los contaminantes y el CO2 del aire y tambi\u00e9n act\u00faa como barrera ac\u00fastica.<\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><em>En un estudio sobre el impacto de estructuras verdes en la zona de Manchester los investigadores comprobaron que los techos verdes ayudaban a bajar las temperaturas especialmente en zonas urbanas.<\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><em>En la actualidad Copenhague posee alrededor de 20.000 metros cuadrados con azoteas en donde es posible implementar estos desarrollos.
